Gangotri - Legend has it that the Holy Ganga came down to earth after prolonged penance by King Bhagirath to Lord Shiva. Dodi Tal, the amazing expanse of water is situated at an elevation of 3024m above sea level.

Gulmarg - Gulamrg is the perfect skiing holidays destination for many adventure seekers.A huge cup shaped meadow, lush and green with slopes where the silence is broken only by the tinkle of cowbells, Gulmarg looks like a fantasy set in a film and not surprisingly have been the venue of several films. Gulmarg or the `Meadow of Flowers’ is a lovely green spot where a profusion of flora changes colours with the changing seasons.

Zanskar - About 21-km south of Rangdum stands the Pazila watershed across which lies Zanskar, the most isolated of all the trans
Himalayan Valleys. Zanskar is tremendously difficult to reach for tourists between November and May, because of the coldness and the heavy snowfall. Only very well-prepared tourists should try to attempt this, and then only with a knowledgeable Zanskari guide. However, Travelers can visit all of Zanskar between June and October.

Kausani - Situated 53 km to the north of Almora, Kausani, is a picturesque hill station famous for its scenic splendour and its spectacular 300 km-wide view of the Himalayas.


Ladakh - Ladakh is a land like no other in the world. Enclosed by two of the world’s mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalayas and the Karakoram, it lies athwart two other, the Ladakh range and the Zanskar range.

Leh - Leh for the first time as one approaches, via the sloping seep of dust and pebbles that divide if from the floor of the Indus Valley. Amidst basically beautiful and majestic mountains, is Leh, the capital of Ladakh, the roof of the world.
